We built Carousel Shop AI because we believe vintage and antique resellers deserve the same powerful technology that big retailers take for granted. Our mission is to empower independent resellers with AI-driven tools that save time, reduce guesswork, and help them sell smarter.
Whether you run an antique mall booth, a thrift store, an estate sale company, or sell at flea markets and online marketplaces - or you're a professional sourcer or dealer finding statement pieces and rare collectables for private clients - Carousel Shop AI gives you AI-powered item analysis, marketplace pricing research, professional inventory management, and a private way to present curated selections to the people who buy them.
We're building the platform that vintage and antique resellers - and the dealers who source for discerning clients - have been waiting for. One that understands your world and works the way you do.
Built by resellers, for resellers - with the engineering to back it up
Co-Founder, CEO & CTO
Matt is a technology executive with over 25 years of experience building and scaling software platforms. From engineering leadership roles at numerous Boston-area software companies to architecting cloud-native systems from the ground up, he's spent his career transforming how organizations deliver software - and now he's applying that expertise to an industry he knows firsthand.
After years of helping his wife build her vintage and antique reselling business - managing booths at antique malls, selling across online marketplaces, and working directly with collectors - Matt saw the gap up close. Resellers were running sophisticated operations with spreadsheets, notes apps, and memory. The tools that big retailers take for granted simply didn't exist for independent dealers.
In 2025, Matt left his VP of Engineering role to build the platform he wished existed: a cloud-based, AI-powered inventory management system designed specifically for the way resellers actually work.
Co-Founder & Chief Product Officer
Alison was dragged through antique malls and thrift shops as a child. She never stopped going back.
Alison's professional career started in the Boston tech scene - doing product management and marketing work at Boston.com (The Boston Globe) and Lycos, an early web search leader. She moved into software project management and consulting for healthcare software providers before stepping away to wrangle three sons full-time.
But the hustle never stopped. Alison spent years buying and selling vintage and home decor online - including the legendary Claire Murray rug run of the early 2000s. More recently, she launched The Carousel Shop of NH on Etsy and Poshmark, bringing her sharp eye for value to a new generation of buyers.
Alison curates vintage and home decor spaces at Junction 71 in Merrimack, NH and Vintage 101 in Amherst, NH. She knows the reality of managing inventory across multiple locations - the pricing decisions, the sourcing trips, the items that sit and the items that fly. That firsthand experience drives every product decision at Carousel Shop AI.
Alison is the champion the reseller community needs - the banisher of doom piles and reclaimer of dining room tables everywhere. She co-founded Carousel Shop AI because she lived the problem every day and got tired of waiting for someone else to solve it.
